National Bankshares, Inc. is a community bank holding company with headquarters in Blacksburg in Southwest Virginia. Bankshares is the parent company of National Bank, a community bank with over a century of service in the area. National Bank currently operates 25 office locations throughout Southwest Virginia and offers a full range of financial products and services, including deposit accounts, commercial, consumer and mortgage loans, credit cards and trust services.

National Bankshares also operates an insurance and brokerage subsidiary, National Bankshares Financial Services, Inc., which does business as National Bankshares Insurance Services and National Bankshares Investment Services.
